Josh Norman has been the most dominant NFL corner during the 2015 season and is currently on track to be a free agent.
Whether or not the Panthers win the Super Bowl means little in the long run to Norman's free agency suitors; Norman will most likely command the largest contract heading into the 2016 offseason. Norman has been a lock down corner all year famously getting into several scuffles with Odell Beckham during the Panthers Giants tilt.
Norman's contract will likely set the free agent market for defensive backs however this is a position where if you are productive you are almost guaranteed to get paid. In 2015 Norman played in all 16 regular season games, had 18 pass defenses, 4 interceptions, 2 return touchdowns, and 3 forced fumbles. Norman is the most productive corner the Panthers have and if they win the Super Bowl could also be the front runners for his services.
At 28 this will likely be Norman's last big contract for the rest of his NFL career so he certainly will want to make it count. Norman's next contract will likely be in the area of Patrick Peterson's or Richard Sherman's.
