The Philadelphia 76ers will host the visiting Dallas Mavericks Tuesday at 7:00 pm ET.
Both teams are without their superstar players, Dallas with Dirk Nowitizki and Philadelphia with Andrew Bynum. As a result Dallas enters Tuesday's game at 7-7 while the 76ers are 8-6.
The 76ers Jrue Holiday has assumed a leadership role, and will look to lead the 76ers to a rare win over the Mavericks. As of now he is averaging team highs of 18.6 points and 9.2 assists per game.
Holiday already has five double-doubles after getting just one last season, and he's doing a much better job taking care of the ball after some carelessness early. He is averaging 2.6 turnovers in the last seven games after averaging 6.0 in the first seven.
Meanwhile, Dallas have struggled much this season on rebounds. In their last game, a 115-89 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, the Mavs lost the battle 61-39 on the boards.
O.J. Mayo leads the Mavs at 21.5 points per game and has a league-best 42 three-pointers made this season. He will need to be a key factor in order for the Mavs to pull out a win tonight.
