After picking up two wins in a row, Southampton will be keen to continue their good run against a Norwich side equally on the rise in the English Premier League.
The Saints picked up an impressive 2-0 win over Newcastle over the weekend, following up their 3-1 victory over QPR, in style, and Nigel Adkins' men finally look like they belong in the Premier League, with the likes of Adam Lallana, Jason Puncheon, Gaston Ramirez and Ricke Lambert impressing.
"We've had 13 different goal scorers this season so we've got goals throughout the team, but the important thing for us is can we build on the clean sheet from the last game against Newcastle," Adkins told the club's official website.
"We had a steady and stable back four and goalkeeper which is something we haven't had since the start of the campaign due to injuries, and the players are all working very hard as a team together.
"The players are working very hard on the training ground and what we've got is a group of players who are getting the just rewards for putting the work in home and away.
"We've accustomed ourselves very quickly the demands of the Premier League, and we talk about lessons learned throughout the campaign and the players are working very, very hard to improve. There's a forward momentum about ourselves, and a growing belief about everybody."
Southampton will have Danny Fox returning to the squad after the fullback missed the game against Newcastle because of a knee problem, while Lambert is expected to be fit after picking up a knock.
For Norwich, who drew 1-1 with Everton in their last game, goalkeeper John Ruddy is a doubt with a thigh problem, while Michael Turner has been ruled out for two weeks. Russell Martin, however, is available.
