Having already seen each other twice this season, the visiting Denver Nuggets will look to continue their recent dominance of the Golden State Warriors when both teams square off Thursday night at 10:30 pm ET.
In their series against the Warriors, the Nuggets have taken 11 0f 14 matchups, including the last three by an average of 18.7 points.
Denver (8-7) found itself on the verge of its longest winning streak of the season before letting a 16-point lead slip away in Monday's 105-103 loss at Utah.
The Nuggets shot a season-high 54.8 percent and outrebounded the Jazz 38-31. Things began going sour for the Nuggets with 3:24 left in the third quarter after Andre Iguodola received his second technical foul and was ejected from the game.
Iguodola finished the game with 10 points.
Meanwhile, the Warriors (8-6) have won three of their last four games. This includes a 96-85 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves at home last Saturday, a day after falling to the Nuggets.
Harrison Barnes, the No. 7 overall pick in this year's draft, has also provided a spark. He had 10 points and 11 rebounds against the Timberwolves -- his third double-double in seven games.
