Cleveland Browns News and Rumors: Will Tashaun Gipson Leave the Browns?

Gipson has proven to be one of the more productive safeties in the NFL and at only 25 years old he could be in for a pretty solid career.

Gipson has played in 50 out of 64 NFL games in his career and has had a nose for the ball whenever he gets around it. In 2015 Gipson started and played in 13 games, in that time he racked up 60 combined tackles, 2 pass defenses, and 2 interceptions. Over his 4 season career Gipson has recorded 240 combined tackles, 22 pass defenses, 14 interceptions, 2 defensive touchdowns, and a forced fumble.

Cleveland has $38 million in cap space and Gipson only has a cap hit of $2,356,000 so it is entirely possible he resigns with the Browns however there are a ton of teams that could use Gipson's help in the secondary. Contenders like the Kansas City Chiefs, Carolina Panthers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals, and Minnesota Vikings should look to lure Gipson to their franchise.

The Oakland Raiders, Atlanta Falcons, Buffalo Bills, Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Baltimore Ravens, and New York Giants should all be seriously interested as well. Gipson signing with any team would immediately revamp their secondary especially if they already had playmakers available.
