NFL News: Will DeMarcus Ware Head Back to Dallas Next Season?

DeMarcus Ware just won his first Super Bowl title with the Denver Broncos.

With the state of the Broncos roster heading into the offseason some major retooling is likely on the way. With Danny Trevathan, Malik Jackson, Brock Osweiler, and Von Miller all needing new contracts the Broncos will have some big decisions to make and they will likely impact DeMarcus Ware.

Ware is 34 and missed  5 games this season with an injury but was productive whenever he was on the field. Ware likely will not retire and only has 1 year left on his contract.

Ware will have around an $11 million cap hit which will be tough for the Broncos to swallow with all of these free agents to resign. Ware has recently said that the only thing missing from his Super Bowl appearance were some of the Cowboys veterans that helped him become the player he is today.

With the Broncos likely to ask Ware to restructure his contract it is possible both sides decide to move on as Ware plays through the twilight of his career with the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys would be open to having Ware back for the right price however they will need a veteran pass rusher as Greg Hardy is likely to be released.
