Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp will take charge of his first game at home knowing nothing short of a win will do against Aston Villa in Saturday's English Premier League game.
QPR are the only team yet to post a win in the Premier League, and Redknapp said there were several positives to take out of a drab 0-0 draw against Sunderland in midweek, his first game as the London club's manager.
Now with the visit of Villa, Redknapp will be keen to register his team's first win of the season, in their 15th game.
"The atmosphere will be massive for us tomorrow (Saturday), Redknapp said. "If they can really cheer every challenge and push us on tomorrow we'll respond and give everything we've got to pick up the three points we need.
"Hopefully if we can give the fans something to cheer and get behind us and we turn in a real workmanlike performance with plenty of effort and play our football then we've got a chance.
"It's not important about me, it's just about picking up three points if we can and moving ourselves closer to the pack and giving ourselves a real chance. Tomorrow's a big, big game.
"Of course it's going to be tough but we'll give it our best shot and that's all we can do.
"There's enough talent here," he added. "The attitude and ability has been excellent, there's some really good players here. I'm optimistic, I think we can do it (avoid relegation).
"If I didn't think we could do it I wouldn't have come here. I believe in what we've got here. It's a good club, good people, and a club that deserves to stay in the Premier League."
Goalkeeper Julio Cesar is doubtful after being taken off at halftime because of a groin strain, while Bobby Zamora and Andrew Johnson are out long-term.
For Villa, skipper Ron Vlaar is a major doubt, while Enda Stevens is ruled out. Chris Herd, though is available after recovering from a knee injury.
