The Philadelphia Eagles will soon hit a fork in the road when it comes to their franchise, will they keep Sam Bradford or move on from the injury prone quarterback.

Bradford managed to get through the 2015 season without any major injuries however seeing him as a long term solution is somewhat hard to fathom at this point. The Eagles will likely need a total roster overhaul if Bradford leaves. The Eagles are also not in the position to land their top choice at quarterback in the 2016 NFL Draft as of right now so keeping Bradford might be their best option.

The Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers are locks to take a quarterback within the first 10 picks. The Eagles will also have some big decisions along their offensive line and whichever quarterback they select will likely have to deal with protection issues for a large portion of the season. Bradford as a veteran may be more adept to the Eagles offense at this time and could help guide the Eagles through what should be a rough couple of seasons. Bradford however could also be sought after as a cheaper answer in the long run to help struggling teams build a competitive roster.

The Los Angeles Rams will need a new quarterback and a reunion could be in order if the price is right. There are also plenty of teams looking for a solid backup quarterback to compete for the starting job and Bradford could be held in high esteem in that category. With the quarterback cache in the 2016 free agent class so barren Bradford's value could jump tremendously pricing him out of the Eagles range, this would force the Eagles hand at drafting a quarterback first overall in the 2016 NFL Draft. The Eagles may have an easier time in the long run rebuilding their roster with productive playmakers than allocating a large amount of cap space on Bradford.
