The Indianapolis Cotls take on the Detroit Lions at 1 p.m. ET as they look to take a firm grasp of the AFC Wild Card.
Andrew Luck has a chance to be the first rookie quarterback to guarantee his team at least a .500 season as he and the Colts will be going for their eighth win of the year.
The Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals are their biggest threats out of the AFC in the Wild Card race. Unfortunately for the Colts, the AFC South has been dominated by an almost unbeatable Houston Texans team.
The Wild Card is not half bad at all, especially for the rookie Luck who has proved valuable.
As we talk about playoffs and look at the Colts opponents, the Lions have their playoff hopes snatched by the Texans last week on Thanksgiving as they lost in OT.
The Lions now have a chance to play spoiler. They are dangerous on offense with Matthew Stafford leading the way on offense.
The Colts defense is average and we have seen them give up big plays week after week. They can't sleep on the Lions as they could easily go down as a Week 13 upset.
