Derek Jeter Not Fat, Harold Reynolds has Proof (Photo)

We saw the images, Derek Jeter in a baby blue shirt looking a bit plump as he is working his way through rehab. However, a photo on MLB Network taken alongside analyst Harold Reynolds, proves that the New York Yankees shortstop is not fat.

The Daily News had pictures of he shortstop walking around in a shirt that exposed a gut unlike any other we've ever seen the Yankees' shortstop sport.

He is currently going through rehab after suffering a left ankle injury that left him hobbling and unable to return to the Yankees' lineup during the ALCS against the Detroit Tiger.

Jeter went down after diving for a Jhonny Peralta grounder late in the game.

The Yankees felt the pain later in the series as they were unable to win a game in the series and found themselves eliminated by the Tigers again in the playoffs.

Following the release of those pictures, many thought Derek Jeter had lost his form.

Analysts were telling people to back off as they trusted that, if indeed Jeter was pulling an Elvis Presley, that he would eventually get back to shape once the season neared and he had fully recovered.

Reynolds, of MLB Network, caught up with the 13-time All-Star as they had lunch in NY before heading down to Nashville, Tennessee for the 2012 MLB Winter Meetings.

Jeter told Reynolds that people would walk by him and stare noticing that the shortstop did not resemble the guy in the backpage of the Daily News.

Michael Jordan also caught up with Jeter and told the Yankee that maybe he should start eating.

But there you have it. Jeter isn't fat according to Reynolds. Either he's trying to show the world that Jeter is actually the same or he's wants to remember the image of Jeter that the whole world had before the injury.

Jeter does have the boot on though.
