The Syracuse Orangemen (4) host the Long Beach State 49ers as they will try to remain perfect in their 2012-2013 season with tipoff at 8 p.m. ET.
We have the live stream available of this matchup of 6-0 Syracuse and a 3-4 Long Beach State team.
For Syracuse, it is another failrly easy game against an opponent that averages just 65 points per game and shoots at a low 40 percent, but don't tell that to Coach Jim Boeheim.
"To just assume we're going to win games is the most arrogant thing I have ever seen in my life," Boeheim said. "I don't like arrogance and I don't like arrogant people. To just think it's going to happen, it doesn't work that way."
Syracuse is considering these early matchups against non-conference and unranked teams as practice and preparation for their more difficult opponents, which will come later in the season.
"We're trying to get ready for conference play," said Coach Boeheim. "We'll have some tough games, more than enough to get you ready."
James Southerland will take his 16.7 points per game and try to lead the Orange to victory. Meanwhile, for Long Beach, they will have James Ennis try to guide them to victory as he takes his 16.4 points per game to Syracuse.
Syracuse holds the advantage as they have better numbers as a team.
They come into the game 17thin in the nation averaging over 80 points per game and they dominate glass grabbing 43.5 rebounds per game for 12th in the nation.
Though Coach Boeheim doesn't believe they are ready to compete against the big boys in NCAA Men's basketball, the numbers are proving otherwise.
