Robert Griffin III News: Rob Parker Has Twitter Supporters Despite Suspension from ESPN

Rob Parker of ESPN was suspended following his comments where he challenged Robert Griffin III's "blackness."

Parker apparently has an issue with how RGIII embraces the African American culture. "Is he a brother, or is he a cornball brother? He's black, he kind of does his thing, but he's not really down with the cause; he's not one of us."

Diving deeper into RGIII's life, Parker went on to say that the Redskins' quarterback was a supporter of the Republican party and engaged to a white woman.

Here is an old photo RGIII and his fiance, Rebecca Liddicoat.

ESPN will further analyze the comments made by Parker.

Later after the broadcast, Parker entered in a Twitter feud with a couple of fans that heard the broadcast and were instantaneously insulted and upset at the comments made on the show.

Following the conclusion of the show, Parker's judgment proved silly as he took part in a Twitter feud with angered fans. If there's something you're not supposed to do as a reporter is get into it with the fans. When they want to yell at you, they will simply yell at you and nothing you say will ever justify your previous comments.

We decided to not go with negative comments fans made, but instead, we show you the others out there who were in full support of the suspended ESPN reporter.

Check out what fans said to Rob Parker via his Twitter account.

DeMaurice Smith, executive director of the NFL Players Association, responded to Parker's comments, saying:

"Robert can certainly take care of himself. Nonetheless, I hope that our men and for that matter, my own kids, will never beg for authenticity from someone who can only talk about the things that other people have the courage to do. People need to be held accountable for the offensive things that they say."
