New York Giants Injury Report Update: Shoulder Injury Keeps Justin Tuck Out Of Practice

New York Giants defensive end Justin Tuck did not practice Wednesday due to a shoulder injury and was one of five starters who did not parcipate.

"He probably banged it in the game, although he didn't come out of the game or anything of that nature," coach Tom Coughlin said. "We can and I think he can deal with it because he's had to before."

Other starters include running back Ahmad Bradshaw (knee/foot), wide receiver Hakeem Nicks (knee), center David Baas (hip/shoulder), guard Chris Snee (hip) and Tuck sat out.

Bradshaw still needs to be cleared by team doctors, after missing last Sunday's game.

Cornerback Prince Amukamara  tested his injured hamstring and was limited in Wednesday's practice.

"I'm feeling great," said Amukamara, who missed Sunday's 34-0 loss to the Falcons. "I had a couple of good reps today at practice, I feel a little bit sore right now and that's natural. I'll just check and see how I feel next morning."

"It's kind of like a catch-22 -- damned if you do, screwed if you don't," he added, of feeling good enough to play this coming Sunday. "You want to put the team before you but you also just have to be smart about it. This is a huge game, very crucial and if we make it to the playoffs you don't want to get hurt in this game and not be ready for the playoffs. But you definitely want to help the team make the playoffs. It's a huge decision."
