Tottenham vs Stoke Live Stream: Watch Free Online English Premier League Game

Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas will expect nothing short of three points against Stoke City as Spurs look to continue their recent momentum in the English Premier League.

Spurs are looking good for a top-four place, equal on points with Chelsea and could go to third with a victory over Stoke.

The Potters, meanwhile, are also one of the form teams in the Premier League and currently lie in ninth on 24 points, five behind Spurs, thanks mainly to their stingy defense.

"It's an extremely difficult game," Villas-Boas said. "Stoke have one of the best defences in Europe. They have a solid organisation and the manager has a specific philosophy that they have been very successful with.

"In many ways, it has transformed the fortunes of Stoke, they are a competitive team, hard to beat. This won't be an easy game for us. Fortunately enough, we play them with a week's preparation and the players will be ready."

Last week Spurs edged out Swansea 1-0, and Villas-Boas knows Stoke will be a completely different proposition.

"It's a different type of game," he said. "The problem with the pressing game this time is that if you don't do it in the right manner, you end up defending inside your box with the balls they put in behind.

"They try to live off those second balls and it won't be easy, we have to be ready for crosses early, for set-plays and for their directness.

"They have reached a level of consistency and you can see that Tony has implemented something and he has the respect of everyone. That helps and this season they have been repaid with a consistency of results.

"It's an important period and we hope to do well," Villas Boas added. "We've some difficult games, especially the two away games, but we certainly believe in ourselves."

Spurs will welcome back their talisman Gareth Bale from a hamstring injury, while Michael Dawson, Scott Parker and Benoit Assou-Ekotto are also expected to make the squad. Emmanuel Adebayor faces a late fitness test, but Younes Kaboul remains ruled out.

Stoke will be without Charlie Adam after the midfielder was granted compassionate leave following the death of his father. Ryan Shotton will be available again after serving a one-match suspension, although Michael Owen is again expected to miss out.
