Norwich vs Manchester City Live Stream: Watch Free Online English Premier League Game

After suffering a disappointing 1-0 defeat at the hands of Sunderland on Bixing Day, champions Manchester City will be desperate to pick up all three points against Norwich in their English Premier League game.

City are currently seven points behind leaders Manchester United, and know another slipup might lead to their chances of defending their title go down the drain.

Norwich, who are 11th on 25 points, however, are no pushovers and have one of the best home records in the Premier League.

City assistant manager David Platt called upon his strikers to take up the mantle, after the quartet of Mario Balotelli, Carlos Tevez, Edin Dzeko and Sergio Aguero have flattered to deceive this season.

"If you asked them they would be disappointed in their return," Platt told reporters. "In the last few games we have produced enough chances, but if you correlate the statistics we should be scoring more goals.

"If we were only having six or seven efforts on goal a game there would be a reason why we're not scoring goals. But that's not the case. We had 24 against Sunderland and 31 against Reading.

"Sergio, for instance, had something like half-a-dozen chances against Sunderland. It will happen when he gets two chances and scores two. We have to start scoring goals when we have a supremacy in the game.

"Goalscorers have barren spells, but it is just unfortunate that at the moment all of them seem to be having one at the same time. Compared to the number of goals we scored last season we are significantly down. But it is not just the strikers, it is all round the pitch. Now we have got to produce better chances and we have to put them away."

Norwich defender Javier Garrido, who was a part of the City squad from 2007-10, said he is looking forward to playing his former team.

"I have good memories from Manchester City," Garrido told the club's official website. "Everything seemed to change so fast in the three years that I was there. I've got friends there but playing against them will be a new experience, and as soon as the referee starts the game I will do my best to beat them."

Norwich will be without defender Steven Whittaker and Andrew Surman. City could welcome back Samir Nasri and Gael Clichy, while Balotelli is a doubt through illness. Aleksandar Kolarov and Maicon, though, are definitely ruled out.
