Chelsea Transfer News: Frank Lampard Moving to Lazio? PSG Insist No Move for Cole Agreed

Frank Lampard has been offered a lucrative contract by Lazio to end his career in Italy, while Paris Saint Germain have not talked with Ashley Cole over a move in the summer.

Both Lampard and Cole are expected to leave Chelsea at the end of the season, with neither being offered new contracts - their current deals expire in 2013.

Lampard, who scored two vital goals against Everton at the weekend to keep Chelsea in the title hunt, is reportedly a prime target of Rome club Lazio, according to La Repubblica.

Lazio are ready to offer the 34-year-old a three-year contract worth around €7.5 million (£6 million, $10 million).

Lampard has been reportedly told he is free to leave in the January transfer window, which has led to suggestions that the England international could replace David Beckham at L.A. Galaxy, while there has also been reported interest from the likes of QPR, West Ham, Arsenal, Manchester United, Monaco and clubs from China and Australia.

The veteran admitted his future was up in the air after the game against Everton. "I just hope personally for me, it means I will be playing in a winning team," Lampard said when asked about what he wants in the New Year.

"I will keep trying to give my best as I've always done when here and will continue to do so.

"I know there's a lot of speculation and talk, but for me the enjoyable bit is the 90 minutes like I've just played, there."

Meanwhile, PSG sporting director Leonardo has played down stories of a move for Cole in the summer.

Widespread reports suggested Cole was on his way to the French club at the end of the season, with a deal already reportedly agreed.

However Leonardo insisted there has not been any contact with Cole, who will be free to talk to clubs outside England in January, as yet. "We have never spoken with Ashley Cole, there has never been any contact," he told reporters.

"Carlo was his coach at Chelsea, that's why that story is doing the rounds."
