LeBron James Raps to Trinidad James, 'Pop the Molly' in Warmups (Video)

LeBron James is a hip hop fan and he's not afraid to show it. During warmups back on Dec. 6 against the New York Knicks, the NBA's best player was caught having a moment.

This is what it looked like to people watching the pregame show on TNT before the Knicks vs. Heat showdown.

The fan watching the game knows exactly what's going on. Then another creative fan took it further and overdubbed some music over the programming and added a few effects.

Thought it was pretty cool until the fourth or fifth time the video repeats. Making matters worse, it's five minutes long! That's a little too much of James leaning back saying the same thing over and over again, but James does show that he might have some moves outside of the court too.

Hopefully people don't go thinking he's an advocate of the drug. Molly, another form of extacy, has become popular across the country. Artist Trinidad James mentions the drug in his hit single "All Gold Everything." The song, like many of our generation doesn't say much, but the youth enjoys it. One thing for sure though, it does have a catchy beat.

This video goes to show how much hip hop is involved in the NBA. Barclays Center, along with many arenas of today, bring a heavy dose of the old and the new. When watching a game in Brooklyn, there is no doubt that Jay-Z handed over the organization a list of suggested songs to play throughout the games hosted by the Brooklyn Nets.

Whether songs carry a positive message or not, hip hop music and the NBA will forever have a bond.
