Novak Djokovic looks to continue his run in the Australian Open as he gets set to face American, Ryan Harrison, in the second round of the grand slam tournament. The action will begin after 7 p.m. EDT/3 a.m. ET.
Hitting the Rod Laver Arena before Djokovic gets his time to shine will be Venus Williams. The No. 25 in Women's Singles has fallen from grace, but remains one of the most well known stars in the sport.
Djokovic will take the court following Williams' match against Alize Cornet.
Harrison will attempt to dethrone the man who has won the Australian Open in back-to-back years. Harrison, 20, defeated Santiago Giraldo in four sets and his prize was to face Djokovic. He comes into the Aussie ranked 62nd in the world.
This is Harrison's first time playing in the 2nd round of the Australian Open. However, he is no stranger to success having made it to the quarterfinals in the French Open and U.S. Open. So Djokovic better not fall asleep on the young player.
For Djokovic, the first round provided a match that was tough to close out, but it was his nonetheless. He defeated Paul-Henri Mathieu in three consecutive sets.
If winning the Australian Open wasn't enough, Djokovic also possesses the No. 1 ranking in the tournament.
