Watch the live stream of Serena Williams vs. Garbine Muguruza of Spain a little after 11 a.m. EDT/7 p.m. ET in the second round of Women's Singles at the 2013 Australian Open.
Williams is recovering from an ankle injury that couldn't prevent her from advancing further into the tournament. Her previous victim was Edina Gallovits-Hall of Romania. The 110th ranked 28-year-old couldn't defeat and injured Williams. As a matter of fact, she couldn't even scratch a point on the board and fell in consecutive sets 6-0, 6-0.
For Muguruza, it was a battle to get here as she played Magadalena Rybarikova in the first round of the Australian Open. Muguruza, of España, lost the first set, but roared back to take the second set 6-1. The last set went to the wire as Muguruza eventually took out Rybarikova 14-12.
Williams comes into the matchup ranked third in Women's Singles. She has controlled the sport of tennis in the final grand slams winning at Wimbledon and then taking the U.S. Open. In 2012, she was eliminated in the fourth round of action. She will look to change that and continue her dominance in Women's tennis.
