Super Bowl Halftime Show 2013: Beyonce Performance Can Make Intermission Fun Again

The day is inching closer and as guys can't wait to watch Super Bowl XLVII, the ladies are anxious to watch Beyonce take over the halftime duties as she is set to perform a few of her chart topping hits.

After leaving Destiny's Child, Beyonce has become one of the more decorated and successful artists of our generation. She even received endorsements from Kanye West, though not the most popular man in the business, for having the best video of all time.

Mr. West was acknowledging Beyonce's performance in her "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" video, which was rumored to have been shot in a single take.

Gentlemen, there might be some eye candy accompanying Beyonce on stage, so you might want to stick around for halftime. Destiny's Child is expected to have a reunion. So along with Beyonce, you can catch Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams hitting the stage in the Superdome.

Many people have bowed down and considered Beyonce one of the greatest recording artists and performers of this age. One thing you can expect, she will not be anywhere near the disappointment the Black Eyed Peas were in 2011 when they performed during Super Bowl XLV between the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Ouch! Will.I.AM take it easy on that mic. The sound definitely didn't help out that evening either. Beyonce's sound better be hooked up well or else Super Bowl organizers will not hear the end of it.

When Beyonce hits the stage, you can expect the best of the best. Her talent is natural and her voice can give anybody chills even on the hottest day of the year.

Here is a brief rendition to some of her best live performances.

Beyonce surprises viewers, listeners and even the people she shares the stage with. Look at Celine Dion's face (1:34) when Beyonce hits the high note.

Organizers played it safe following Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction in 2004 during Super Bowl XXXVIII. After this performance, living legends like Paul McCartney, The Who, Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, Prince and Madonna were asked to do the halftime honors.

Beyonce has a chance to once again open the doors for mainstream arists of today.
