Tom Brady's New Mansion Comes With A Moat And Celebrity Neighbor Rihanna

Since being ousted from the NFL post season after losing the AFC championship game to the Baltimore Ravens, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen have bought a new $20 million Los Angeles home complete with a moat.

That's right, a moat.

The 22,000 square feet resort-style home's medieval fortification system was uncovered by an overhead video of the estate posted by the Detroit Free Press. There is no word about a drawbridge, dungeon or throne room.

Based on the photos of the property, the moat doesn't encircle the entirety of the mansion.

The home also come complete with a pool and a massive play area for children.

The Brady's home is also neighbored to notable singer Rihanna. The pop singer purchased her seven bedroom and nine bathroom $12 million just before Christmas.

Before moving near the Brady mansion, Rihanna lived in Beverly Crest. That previously house leaked from the roof. She bought the Beverly Crest home for $6.9 million in 2009. Then she sued the agent, inspectors and others in 2011. She eventually sold the house for a $5.03 million loss.

Shortly after making the purchase in December, Rihanna reportedly had a new host guest: Chris Brown. While Brown has a home further east in Los Angeles, reports have claimed that Brown has effectively moved into the residence with Rihanna.
