There were no wardrobe malfunctions at this year's Super Bowl, but the network CBS may still take some heat after Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco was heard yelling expletives during their celebration in last night's win over the San Francisco 49ners.
At the end of the longest Super Bowl in NFL history, a happy Flacco screamed expletives and was close enough to microphones that viewers at home heard him clear enough. His enthusiasm will probably be classified as a fleeting expletive.
That came almost a decade after the famous nipple slip on the CBS Super Bowl halftime show helped usher in an Federal Communications Commission fine and all the legal and congressional fallout to follow. It was also reminiscent of Bono's "F***ing brilliant" comment on NBC's Golden Globes that also contributed to the FCC crackdown in the mid 2000's.
Flacco, who was named Super Bowl MVP after throwing three touchdown passes, will be going to Disney World's Magic Kingdom Park Monday for a celebratory parade.
"The world just saw quarterback Joe Flacco lead the Baltimore Ravens to a Super Bowl win tonight in New Orleans, so the only question now is what Flacco is going to do next," Disney officials wrote on its official website.
"Unless you have been stuck inside Space Mountain the last 20 years, the answer is pretty obvious: He's going to Disney World, of course!" Disney added.
