Singer Marilyn Manson reportedly refused to call of his show last night despite falling ill with the flu, which in result led to his collapse on stage at the Canadian concert.
The 'Sweet Dreams' rocker was accompanied by his live band on Wednesday evening to perform a gig in Saskatoon when he was fell ill halfway through singing his hit 'Beautiful People.'
Manson, whose concerts are chock full of theatrics, was helped off the stage when the band and stagehands realized that the incident was not part of the performance, Billboard reported.
TMZ reported that he 44-year-old was not taken to the hospital but rather was taken to his hotel room to rest. Manson was feeling under the weather before the performance but felt worse when he took the stage, sources told the website.
Video footage filmed by a concert-goer and posted on YouTube, shows Marilyn stumbling around on stage before turning to the side and keeling over. Unaware that his collapse was genuine, Marilyn's band continued to play for the remainder of the song.
Manson joins an exclusive group of performers such as Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga have also tossed their cookies mid-performance.
At this time reps for the singer have not released any information as to the singer's condition.
