L.A. Galaxy forward Robbie Keane wants Frank Lampard to join him in the MLS, while Lazar Markovic has denied he has a pre-contract agreement already in place with the Blues.
The future of Lampard has been a topic of much debate this season, with Chelsea initially refusing to offer the legend a new contract.
However, as the season has progressed, Lampard has shown he still has it in him to get 20 goals in a season from midfield, and is currently just four goals short of equalling Bobby Tambling's all-time scoring record of 202.
Fans have also showed their discontent at Chelsea's stance, and that has reportedly led to Roman Abramovich reconsidering his decision, with the Blues in talks with Lampard over a new contract, although neither party have confirmed or denied that a deal is in the works.
One of the clubs which has been actively pursuing the 34-year-old is L.A. Galaxy, with the team in search of a high-profile replacement for David Beckham.
Keane, who helped the Galaxy to the MLS Cup in December, wants Lampard to take over the mantle left by Beckham.
"I am sure they have someone in the pipeline," Keane said. "I think it is important for the team to get big-name players in and if we get Frank it will be good -- he's been on fire."
Lampard, who on Tuesday announced his decision to write children's books, is a little reluctant to commit his future to the L.A. Galaxy, after England manager Roy Hodgson said he was hopeful the midfielder would stay in Europe to make it easier for the manager to pick him for internationals.
The Chelsea man also has offers from Italy, France and China.
Meanwhile, Partizan Belgrade youngster Markovic has denied agreeing a deal with Chelsea. Speculation was rife in his native Serbia that the highly-rated forward was on his way to Stamford Bridge in the summer after a deal between the two clubs had been agreed.
However, the 18-year-old, who visited Chelsea's facilities last month, insisted he has not signed with any club as yet.
"It is true. I was in London, I toured around London and I was also at Stamford Bridge," he told Sportski Zurnal.
"I met my teammate from national team Branislav Ivanovic, we talked a little bit.
"I also met people from Chelsea, but it is not true that I have signed anything yet or something like that. There is no contract, not a even a pre-contract.
"I had a great time there but it is far from being over."
