New York Islanders vs. NY Rangers Live Stream: Watch Online as Hometown Rivals Meet at 7 p.m. ET

Check out our live stream as the New York Islanders face the New York Rangers on Thursday evening at 7 p.m. ET. Can't watch the game, scroll down to check the live action on your computer.

This will be the second meeting between the two New York teams. The Rangers completely dominated the first meeting 4-1 as J.T. Miller powered them through just a goal shy of a hat trick.

The Rangers, over all, have been playing very well as of late. They are 7-3 in their last 10 games, picking up the slack in a season that started out roughly. They have bounced back and won three games in a row in a streak that started with a victory over the Islanders last week. The Rangers defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning the game after and most recently escaped Boston with a 4-3 victory over the Bruins.

As for the Islanders, they aren't as hot right now. In fact, they are going through a pretty cold point right now in their season. They have lost five consecutive games and all five of these games have been in the city of New York, so they can't blame traveling.

The Islanders are sitting in last place in the Eastern Division with a 4-7-1 record. The Rangers are in a slightly better place at 7-5 and in third place trailing behind the Pittsburgh Penguins and New Jersey Devils, who own second and first place respectively.

The puck drops a little after 7 p.m. ET.
