One of the negatives of a player like Gareth Bale making waves with his performances on the pitch is that Tottenham are now likely to be bombarded with offers from some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
The likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona are already in the mix for the Welsh forward, and joining them now is Bayern Munich.
Bayern arguably made the biggest announcement last month when they confirmed the appointment of the most wanted manager in Europe Pep Guardiola.
And now the former Barcelona boss has drawn out a list of candidates he would like to see at the Allianz Arena next season when he takes charge, with Bale one of the prime names, according to the Daily Mail.
Guardiola is going to be handed a transfer chest of over £100 million ($155 million) in the summer, and Bale is a £50 million ($72.5 million) target.
Bale has been in sensational form this season, and has been the catalyst to Spurs firming their grip on a Champions League spot.
"This is probably the best I've been playing so far in my career," Bale said. "I'm enjoying my football and the team's playing well, which obviously makes it easier for me.
"I've just got to keep my head down, keep working hard. I've still got a lot of room for improvement.
"I don't take too much notice (about speculation). I'm concentrating on every game and just hoping I can keep my form going."
Bayern, who are also reportedly closing in on a move for Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski, are one of the highest earning clubs in the world, and recently paid a huge amount to bring in Javi Martinez from Athletic Bilbao; so there is little doubt that they can compete financially with the biggest in the world.
Real are thought to be the favorites to land Bale in the summer, with the 23-year-old a huge fan of Real superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. However, the lure of playing under Guardiola is great for any player, and Bayern might just gain an upperhand if they make their interest serious.
