The 2013 NFL Draft is just about two months away and the San Francisco 49ers added more picking power following the Alex Smith trade with the Kansas City Chiefs that landed them two more picks. Check out where 49ers will be picking in the 2013 draft and why they will be the biggest team to watch in the NFL Draft.

Of course, the first round of the draft is what everybody pays attention to. Everybody wants to know what players they should keep their eyes on entering the season as first-round picks are expected to get action almost immediately.

However, check out why it will be important to keep an eye when the 49ers make their picks in the draft.

The draft kicks off for them in the first round with the penultimate pick since they were the runner-ups in the NFL year after losing the Super Bowl to the Baltimore Ravens. So that's the 31st pick. They recevied the Chief's second round pick and will have the chance to strike again with the 34th pick.

The 49ers also have their late second round pick which is the 61st in the draft. Then in the third round, the 49ers have the 74th and 93rd picks.

That's a total of five picks in the Top 100 in a team that possesses some of the best young talent in the league already. Their defensive line features Aldon Smith, who's 23 years old, Navarro Bowman, who's 24, Michael Crabtree, who's 25, and Colin Kaepernick, who's also 25.

The 49ers have practically build their starting teams off first round picks. Smith was a first-rounder in 2011 and seventh overall in the draft, Crabtree was 10th overall in 2009, Mike Tupati and Joe Staley are Pro-Bowl offensive linemen who were drafted 17th overall in 2010 and 28th overall in 2007, respectively. If you go a little further back, Vernon Davis was their first rounder in 2006 going sixth overall in the draft and Patrick Willis was the 11th overall pick in 2007.

When you look at what the 49ers did with Kaernick, grabbing him in the second round and 36th overall, that lets people know how great a job they do in the drafts.

The 49ers will have a total of 12 picks overall as seven of these are spread later in the draft. Here's where they will draft in the remainder of the draft.

4th Round- 31st Pick
5th Round- 24th and 31st Picks
6th Round- 12th and 31st Picks
7th Round- 21st and 31st Picks.

In case you're wondering, the 49ers have drafted guys like Dashon Goldson in the 4th round while drafting Kyle Williams and Delanie Walker in the 6th round.
