Michael Vick had an interesting offseason that resulted in him staying in Philadelphia on a one-year deal and he has been spending some of his downtime recently taking dog-training classes in New Jersey.
According to USA Today, Vick has been spotted at dog training classes at a New Jersey PetSmart. The Philadelphia sports site Crossing Broad put up some pictures of the quarterback at the location, writing that he has been attending classes at PetSmart for "Angel, the Vick family's young Belgian Malinois (a type of Shepherd)."
The post went on to say that he has signed up for six classes on Monday evenings and he is a frequent customer at the store.
Vick made headlines earlier last season when he posted pictures of him and his family with their new dog, something he was finally allowed to do after his probation expired. Vick famously was arrested and jailed on charges of running a dog fighting ruing and killing dogs, but after serving his time and paying his price back to the government, he is legally allowed to do so again.
Last season Vick had a rough year with Eagles, suffering a concussion while playing in 10 games. He was expected to be released, but instead head coach Chip Kelly brought him back and he will likely battle for the starting position.
