Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco didn't have the typical college career you'd expect from an NFL quarterback who's got a $100 million contract on their resume.

Flacco began his college career at Pitt, but after not been given the shot to compete with Tyler Palko for the starting job, he decided it was time to go. Pitt didn't give Flacco a scholarship release, which caused the future Baltimore Ravens quarterback to sit out a year.

Once that year was up, the University of Delaware gave Flacco chance. By the time Flacco finished his Blue Hens career, he was garnering a lot of interest from the NFL. Any quarterback who has transferred to a lower division is going to be looked at a little skeptically before a NFL team uses a first-round pick on him, but Flacco's coach, K.C. Keeler, put the Ravens' minds at ease by telling them about Flacco's leadership. Baltimore took Flacco, who eventually led the Ravens to a Super Bowl.

Flacco remains grateful to the University and to Keeler, still to this day.

According to Yahoo! Sports, Keeler was fired in January after 11 seasons at Delaware. Flacco who was busy on his road to his first Super Bowl, but he hadn't forgot his old coach.

So he decided to take to his Facebook page and post a heartfelt note to show his support for Keeler, the same way he was supported in college:
