Capriati Arrest Warrant Sought After Fighting Incident, Tennis Star Jennifer Capriati Wanted By Police For Alleged Ex-Boyfriend Attack

Jennifer Capriati is one of the most successful American tennis stars of her generation, but legal troubles have plagued her throughout her career and that came up again on Friday.

According to Sports Illustrated and Gossip Extra's Jose Lambert, the North Palm Beach Police Department is seeking an arrest warrant for Capriati after she allegedly attacker her ex-boyfriend Ivan Brannan. The report says that there was an alleged altercation between the two parties outside of an Oxygen Health and Fitness Gym in North Palm Beach.

The report describes the attack, saying that Capriati attacked Brannan by hitting his chest with her fist and a yoga instructor eventually got involved and called the police to the situation.

Capriati was recently inducted at the International Tennis Hall of Fame and had a successful career that saw her win 14 titles including three Grand Slam championships and a gold medal at the Olympics in 1992. When she was younger Capriati had issues with marijuana as a teenage tennis star and in 2010 she was hospitalized after a prescription drug overdose.
