After pulling off a massive victory over Southampton last weekend, Queens Park Rangers will be hoping for more of the same when they host Sunderland in the English Premier League Saturday.
QPR are currently bottom of the table on 20 points from 28 games, four points adrift of safety. A win will go a long way in giving the London side a great chance of beating the drop in the most amazing of circumstances.
Sunderland will also be wary of being roped back into the relegation battle were they to lose against QPR; they currently lie 14th on 20 points.
"We need back-to-back wins," Redknapp said. "I think it was World War One when we last did that! If we can do that it puts us right back in the picture.
"It will be a tough game. Sunderland are strong up front. They've got two very good strikers. But we're at home and we need to give our fans something to shout about.
"We're still in there. We've still got a good chance. I've been optimistic all along and I still feel we'll stay up. We're ready to go. We're ready to give everything."
QPR duo Julio Cesar and Bobby Zamora face late fitness tests and Redknapp will delay make a decision on the starting XI only at the very last moment to give both players a chance of making it for the game.
"We're still waiting on Cesar and Zamora," Redknapp added. "We're still not sure on either of them.
"We'll give them as much time as they need. We'll leave it until the very last minute. Zamora is obvious a big threat for us and we'd love him to be fit, but Jay (Bothroyd) and Loic (Remy) both did very well last weekend.
"I'm lucky that we've got two really good keepers here. Cesar is back in the Brazil squad and Rob (Green) was fantastic for us when he came on last week as well."
Sunderland will welcome back Matthew Kilgallon and Danny Rose.
