Liverpool will look to curtail an in-form Tottenham side when the two teams meet in the English Premier League Sunday.
The game will also be a battle between two player of the year contenders in Luis Suarez and Gareth Bale with the better player on the day also likely to decide the outcome of the match.
"I don't know if I am in the very best scoring form of my life, but certainly I am enjoying a bit of what every striker needs and that is a little bit of luck," said Suarez, who scored a hat-trick against Wigan in his last game.
"Last season, chances weren't going in, whereas this year they are. You have to work hard as a striker to get into the right positions and anticipate situations -- that's important, too.
"It's also evidence the team are working well and moving in the right direction as a whole -- but at the same time, it is nice as a player to receive personal recognition because it means you're doing a good job.
"We've been in good form recently and it's a good opportunity to reduce the gap between ourselves and Spurs. There is a slight chance we can make Champions League football -- and if we want to do that, this is the sort of game we need to win."
Liverpool are currently 12 points behind third-placed Spurs, and ten adrift of Chelsea, who hold the last Champions League spot.
If Liverpool are to reduce the gap, they will need to stop Bale, who has been in irresistible form off late. "He's one of the best players around at the moment and he's scoring plenty of goals," Enrique told the club's official website. But every player is just a person. Gareth Bale is a person as well. Of course, he's a good player and a complete footballer.
"Before, when people were talking about him, they said that he would need to score a few more goals and now he is a scoring plenty. He can play as a winger but he can also play as a No.10. And of course, he's a really difficult player to play against."
