Check out the link at the end of the article, but first, let's break down this matchup. Predictions have been made, now find out what will really happen in the game.

The Dominican Republic has proven unstoppable. They don't want to go home early and want to continue proving why they produce so many baseball players that end up in the majors. As for Puerto Rico, though they aren't loaded with stars, they want to show that they can produce great players as well.

The key is that both teams are in the second round, however, bragging rights never hurt anybody as far as winning Pool D. The Dominican Republic defeated the Venezuelan's 9-3, following up with a 6-3 victory over Spain.

For Puerto Rico, they defeated Spain 3-0 and then shutdown the Venezuelans, eliminating them from the tournament.

As many know, Venezuela is packed with stars, but both the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico proved more durable and dominant in their meetings. Venezuela won earlier on Sunday, so they automatically qualify for the 2017 World Baseball Classic.

Both the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico want to win it all. Those are the expectations.

On the mound for the Dominican Republic will be Wandy Rodriguez. His counterpart from Puerto Rico will be Orlando Roman.
