The Los Angeles Clippers and DeAndre Jordan teamed up for one of the most ferocious dunks of the year as the team was taking on the Detroit Pistons at home on Sunday night, sending Brandon Knight to the ground and the crowd to their feet.
According to Yahoo Sports, point guard Chris Paul took the ball up with about 4:30 left in the second quarter and the Clippers up 55-36 and found Jordan open in the middle, hitting him with an alley-oop. Jordan caught the ball as he jumped and caught the high pass and slammed it hard right over Knight, who was called for a foul and was completely posterized.
Knight had a similar highlight during All-Star weekend and the play showed off the athletic ability of Jordan and the court vision of Paul. It was not the first time last week the team did a play li that, as they nailed another dunk on Wednesday night, but the Jordan play was stronger than nearly any one seen this season.
Yahoo posted a part of Knight's quickly update Wikipedia page, which said: "On March 10, 2013 Knight died in a game vs the Los Angeles Clippers. The cause of death was determined to be DeAndre Jordan."
