Dennis Rodman just recently returned from his high-profile visit to North Korea that saw him watch basketball and bump elbows with dictator Kim Jong Un and he already has another major world city to his list, as he said he plans on heading to the Vatican as they select a new pope.

According to Yahoo Sports, Rodman spoke to TMZ and said that he has been in touch with people in Rome and that they are trying to put together a sit-down between Rodman and the new papal leader. The report says that Rodman is on his way to Rome and will arrive later on Tuesday, when a new pope may already be selected.

Rodman told TMZ that he wants to bring peace to different places in the world, which comes as news also came out that Rodman has said he plans to vacation with dictator Kim Jong Un, someone who has starved his people, held them in prison camps and has cut them off to the rest of the world. Yes, Rodman, peace.

"I want to be anywhere in the world that I'm needed ... I want to spread a message of peace and love throughout the world," he said to TMZ.

Rodman won three NBA Championships in Chicago and as Yahoo has pointed out, perhaps Rodman would be better served helping spread his message in Chicago, where gun violence continues to rise.

According to USA Today, Rodman is planning to vacation with Kim Jong Un, the man he called a "friend for life". Rodman spoke to a news station in Fargo and said that he was planning on returning to North Korea over the summer and will vacation with the world leader.

"I don't condone what he does," Rodman told Fargo's KXJB, "but he's my friend."
