With rumors swirling around about the future of Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, the youngster himself has come forward to quickly shoot down those reports of an exit, saying he is "too happy to go somewhere else."

The 22-year-old's future has been a subject of much debate after Arsene Wenger left him out of the squad for the Champions League game against Bayern Munich, a game in which Lukasz Fabianski impressed in a 2-0 win for the Gunners.

Szczesny also did not make the starting XI for the English Premier League game against Swansea, although he did make the bench, leading to suggestions the goalkeeper could be on his way out.

The Arsenal goalkeeper, however, has no plans of leaving the club. "I am too happy to go somewhere else," he told Polish newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza prior to the Swansea game on Saturday. "I believe in the philosophy of the club and that Arsenal will start to win again.

"I have a debt to pay here for the club, I owe them. I just do not want to go anywhere else.

"As long as they want me here, there is no somewhere else, and I have a contract until June 2015."

The Arsenal goalkeeper has had a difficult time of it this season, making a few errors, which has cost the team dear; however at 22, he is still extremely young for a goalkeeper and with the talent he has shown, there is little doubt that he will only get better with age.

Bringing in a more experienced goalkeeper like a Victor Valdes or Pepe Reina might help Szczesny in the long run as well.

Arsenal have had one of their worst seasons yet under Wenger, and Szczesny believes missing out on Champions League qualification would be a disaster.

"It is halfway through March and we have lost everything," he added. "There are still 10 matches left to save the club against the humiliation of all times.

"It would be disaster not to be in the top four and without Champions League next year.

"We have the 10 most important games in our careers. We are going through the most difficult time since I came here."
