Chelsea Transfer News: Blow for Blues as Jose Mourinho's Agent Begins Talks Over PSG Move; Portuguese Also Hints at Possible Inter Milan Return

Jose Mourinho could be on his way to Paris Saint Germain, with his agent reportedly holding talks with the French club over a summer move, according to widespread reports in France.

The Real Madrid manager also hinted at a possible return to Inter Milan, saying he would love to manage the Italian club again, and with it possibly landing a blow to Chelsea, who have been the prime contenders for the Portuguese's signature in the summer.

Mourinho is widely expected to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season, with his relationship with some of the senior players as well as the management deteriorating considerably over the past nine months.

The 50-year-old has publicly said he would love to return to the English Premier League, where he enjoyed so much success as Chelsea manager. Along with his former club, Manchester City and Manchester United have been touted as possible destinations, while French moneybags Paris Saint Germain are also interested.

The Portuguese is seen as a possible successor to Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford, and Mourinho was all praise for United, despite losing to his club Real in the Champions League, saying the "better team had lost."

Roman Abramovich, however, has identified Mourinho as the perfect candidate to take over from the unpopular Rafa Benitez at the end of the season, with both parties looking to mend their relationship, which led to Mourinho's exit in 2007.

The manager then went on to have a hugely successful spell with Inter Milan, with whom he won the Champions League title, before moving to Real Madrid in 2010.

Mourinho has always said he holds a soft spot for Inter, and in a video message for the Coordown (Co-ordinator of people with Down Syndrome) charity, he admitted a return was a possibility.

"I spent two fantastic years in Italy, at Inter," he said while sitting in his chair at Real Madrid, with an Inter shirt draped over the back.

"I do not know if I will go back someday, but if I do it will be with great pleasure and excitement."

The only thing working against Inter, though, is that they currently do not have a team capable of competing for honors and don't have the financial power to bring in big name players either.

Mourinho would look at joining either Chelsea, PSG or even Man City as the better option, as he looks to add several more titles to his CV.

If the PSG move were to materialize, it would open up the possibility of a swap deal involving Carlo Ancelotti, with the Italian moving to Real.

However, that could all be a moot point, if Real decide to hold onto their manager for at least one more year. Asked about the future of Mourinho, Real director Emilio Burragueno said: "It's quite simple really. He has a contract until 2016."
