It will be the No. 14 Harvard Crimson vs. No.3 New Mexico Lobos in the second round of the 2013 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. For the Lobos, it will be an attempt, not only to advance, but avoid an upset in the tournament. 

New Mexico is one of the favorites in this tournament. They are ranked third in the West region following an impressive 29-5 season. For Harvard, who hails out of the Ivy League Conference, they wrapped up their season 19-9. Despite the variant records, on paper, this battle looks pretty even as both teams have been winning as of late and average around the same amount of points. 

If you do the math, New Mexico has the advantage because of their defense. They outscore their opponents by seven points and give up just 60.4 points on average. They have averaged scoring 67.4 points per game. Harvard has averaged more points per game than New Mexico, but they also allow three more points than the Lobos. Harvard has averaged 68.9 points per game while allowing opponents to score 63.9 points per game. 

If you were to pinpoint a strength in each team, New Mexico's specialty is passing. They average close to 15 assists per game and in every other stat they are right about average. As for Harvard, they possess great shooters as their field goal percentage is just above 48 percent.

Names to remember as you watch this game, in case you're unfamiliar with either team: Wesley Saunders and Siyani Chambers are the leading scorers for Harvard. Saunders averages 16.5 points while Chambers adds 12.9 points per game. 

In New Mexico, Kendall Williams averages 13.5 points per game and Tony Snell scores 12.6 per game.
