The Chicago Bulls game on Monday night got some theatrics from the television analysts, as CSN Chicago analysts Kendall Gill and Tim Doyle got into it following a controversial call at the end of the game.
According to NESN.com, the two got into an altercation after the Bulls-Nuggets game arguing about a goaltending call against Bulls center Joakim Noah. An eyewitness account on ChicagoBusiness.com said that Gill confronted Doyle about the call and that a swing was thrown and "a small amount of blood was drawn."
The report said that Gill did not like what Doyle had said earlier in a taping of the show about the call and the two had a disagreement. Gill felt the call on Noah was a "very bad call", although the replay did show he did interfere with the ball on its way down.
The anger was towards the refs mostly for looking at the call and overturning it, something they did not do after a similar call by the Nuggets. Gill reportedly has been suspended according to the report.
