The Wichita State Shockers pulled one of the biggest upsets of the NCAA Tournament this year with their victory over number one seed Gonzaga and following the game, the team got a surprise themselves, as they were greeted by New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow.
According to KSN NBC, the team flew home from their 76-70 upset win over the Bulldogs to Mid-Continent airport back home in Wichita, finding the backup quarterback waiting for them to congratulate them on the shocking victory. Tebow took a picture with the team and he made a detour on his own ride home to show his love for the Shockers.

The Shockers pulled the stunning upset and are advancing to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2006. The team hasn't reached the Elite Eight since the 1980s, but after the Bulldogs upset, anything is possible. Wichita State will now face the winner of Ole Miss-La Salle, which was won by.
Tebow was wearing a bright pink sweater and earlier in the week he was spotted in Dallas working out at SMU while in town. Tebow has been the subject of trade talks all offseason and there is a chance the New York Jets will release him if they can't find another trade partner. Gonzaga nearly lost in the first round to Southern after finishing in the top spot of the AP top 25 poll and are now heading home early once again.
Florida Gulf Coast University continued their Cinderella run, as they defeated San Diego State to become the first 15 seed to advance to the Sweet 16. The NCAA Tournament has had a number of upsets, including FGCU's victory over Georgetown in the first round and Ole Miss over Wisconsin.
