As the Men's Basketball Tournament steals headlines, the 2013 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament enters its second round of action with the Connecticut Huskies and Tennessee Volunteers playing Monday night. Check out the entire schedule of games with time and matchups.
Already in action Monday morning are Nebraska (6) vs. Texas A&M (3). They are the only team going down during the day. The rest of the games will be played in the evening and almost rightfully so, two of the games' most storied schools hit the wooden floors as they look to advance further into the tournament.
No. 1 Connecticut vs. No. 8 Vanderbilt tipoff at 7:05 p.m. ET. It's been another successful season for the female Huskies as they posted a dominant 30-4 record for the top seeding in the tournament.
Five minutes after the Lady Huskies hit the court, watch No. 2 Tennessee vs. No. 2 Creighton as their tipoff is set for 7:10 p.m. ET. The Volunteers are fresh off a victory against Oral Roberts. They look to continue rolling in this tournament. The winner of this meeting faces either Oklahoma (6) or UCLA (3).
