Real Madrid will look for another three points when they face off against Real Zaragoza, fighting to stay in the La Liga.

Real are 13 points behind Barcelona and could find the gap at 16, with Barca set to play in the earlier game against Celta Vigo.

The Spanish champions, however, will also be thinking of their Champions League game against Galatasaray and Jose Mourinho might rest a few of his first team players, even if Zaragoza will go all out for a win, keeping in mind they are only two points ahead of the relegation zone.

"They (Zaragoza) are in a difficult position, and for us it is an important match after the international break, where luckily we did not have any serious injuries as has happened on other occasions, because we are on a good run of form," Real assistant coach Aitor Karanka told reporters.

"We want to win and carry on the run of wins we were having before this break. The team is doing very well and the decisive part of the season is starting. We have to finish like this."

Fabio Coentrao is a slight doubt through injury, while Mourinho will have to assess the fitness of some of the players who made long journeys to play for their country.

"Coentrao is on the list of players selected and we will see how he progresses until tomorrow," Karanka added. "There are players who have had long journeys and two matches back to back with their national teams, so we will wait until tomorrow to pick the starting lineup."

Skipper Iker Casillas, though, is well on his way back and could return to the squad by next week. "He was cleared by the doctors some time ago, but he still is not ready to play as he is not one hundred per cent match fit," Karanka said. "He has not been selected but he is training well and that is good for everyone.

"When he is one hundred percent, he will be ready to play, but he is the goal keeper which makes it more difficult."
