As if injuries weren't enough for the Los Angeles Lakers, new reports have stated forward/center Jordan Hill's Bentley crashed into a Marina Del Rey condo complex at approximately two this morning.
Hill was not the driver of the vehicle and it turned out the Laker wasn't around his Bentley at all before or after the crash.
Via Los Angeles Times:
According to California Highway Patrol Officer Monica Posada, the vehicle, which was not being driven by Hill, crashed into a condominium complex in Marina Del Rey about 2 a.m.
While Hill lives in the building that was struck, he wasn't in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
The driver, identified as Michael Lacey, 26, was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The accident reportedly ruptured a gas line that was shut down by firefighters.
Police officers were able to follow a trail of blood from the driver (Lacey) that led to Hill's residence. Hill was questioned,, which is standard protocol, but was not arrested on any charges.
Hill is currently sidelined due to hip surgery. He was expected to be out until next season but it has been reported that he will be reevaluated soon.
