NCAA Basketball Tournament 2013 Schedule: No Games During the Week Until Saturday, Final Four Matchups and Times

Apr 01, 2013 11:07 AM EDT

The Final Four is all set as four teams are headed to Atlanta for the conclusion of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament is down to just three more games. However, fans will have to be patient as the next games will not be played during the week. The action commences on Saturday. Here are the teams, the matchups and the times of these games as only two teams will survive and play for the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship.

Wichita St. Shockers vs. Louisville Cardinals
The Louisville Cardinals, the No. 1 overall team of the tournament, won it in the Midwest Region. They get ready to face a No. 9 seed, Wichita St. in the Final Four. The Shockers won in the West Region upsetting top teams like Ohio State and Gonzaga.

The Cardinals look unstoppable, especially after humiliating the Duke Blue Devils 85-63 in their Elite Eight matchup on Sunday. Louisville is also playing for their teammate Kevin Ware who went down with a horrific leg injury suffered in Sunday's game. All he wanted was for them to beat Duke and they rallied to do so. Now, the Cardinals are playing for more than just a National Championship.

The Shockers, on the other hand, are playing with no pressure. It was great that they beat Pittsburgh in the second round. It was excellent when they defeated No. 1 Gonzaga. Beating Ohio State was more than delightful and getting into the Final Four is just amazing. If they lose, they will still get a lot of credit and praise for making it this far in the tournament. They face a Louisville team that is forced to win as they face a No. 9 seed in Wichita St.

Time: 6 p.m. ET

Date: Saturday, Apr. 6

Syracuse Orange vs. Michigan Wolverines
This matchup features two No. 4 seeds. Syracuse popped up out of the East Region after crushing the No. 1 Indiana Hoosiers shot at the National Championship and followed this performance with a win over the Marquette Golden Eagles. The Wolverines got passed the No. 3 Florida Gators in the Elite Eight to make it this far into the tournament.

Syracuse has been playing incredibly motivated basketball following their upsetting blowout loss to Louisville in the Big East tournament. Every one of their victories, except against California, finished in double-digit wins.

As for the Wolverines, long gone are the days where they sat down and thought about the Fab 5. This group of players is trying to cement their names in the history of the school as they are the first group from Michigan to get to the Final Four since 1994 when the Fab 5 came to the conclusion of it's domination of NCAA basketball.

If Syrcause and Louisville wins, we could be treated to a Big East National Championship.

Time: 8:50 p.m. ET

Date: Saturday, Apr. 6
