Toronto Blue Jays Score: 3-2 Cleveland Indians Win in Extra Innings with Reynolds Bomb in 11th

The Cleveland Indians took another one from the Toronto Blue Jays, this time after 11 innings. The Blue Jays received solid pitching throughout the game and needed some extra-inning magic to put this one away.

The hero in this game was Mark Reynolds. He smacked a go-ahead solo home run to left-center making it a 3-2 ball game.

Pitching dominated this game as both starters went at six innings. Ubaldo Jimenez had a dominating performance striking out eight hitters while allow just three hits and walking just one hitter. Brandon Morrow matched this performance almost pitch by pitch as he allowed six hits, walked two and struck out eight. Ubaldo threw 103 pitches, while Morrow threw exactly 100.

The Blue Jays made it dramatic as they needed Jose Bautista to hit a game-tying home run in the bottom of the ninth against Indians' closer Chris Perez. The solo shot made it a 2-2 game and it was the second home run for the Blue Jays as Maicer Izturis hit a solo shot in the bottom of the third inning to then tie the game 1-1.

The Indians got the offense started in the top of the third with a Michael Brantly single that scored Michael Bourn. They then took the lead once again in the top of the eighth as Brantley was responsible for scoring the then go-ahead run on an error by Izturis.

It's not a great sign for the Blue Jays early on as they were stopped by starting pitching. The top of the lineup handled their own as Jose Reyes, Melky Cabrera, Bautista and Edwin Encarnacion each had hits in the game.

On the mound for both teams in the final game of the series, the Indians send Brett Myers to the hill while veteran Mark Buerhle makes his return to the American League.
