Fenerbahce will be desperate to take away a first leg lead when they host Italian side Lazio in the Europa League quarterfinals.
The Turkish side will start as underdogs against Lazio, but coach Aykut Kocaman believes picking up a win in the first leg at home can give his side a serious chance to go past the Italians and make it to their first ever European semifinal.
"We want to take a lead into the second leg," Kocaman said. "We will play a very hard game, a very big game. This is a two-legged situation, not a league game. We want to compete but will be conscious that this is the first leg, not the deciding match in the tie."
The Fenerbahce boss picked out German international striker Miroslav Klose as the danger man for Lazio.
"We have had to play a number of very difficult and talented teams along the way, but Lazio are a step up from that," Kocaman added. "Klose is a very famous player. He will be one of the key men for Lazio, though the tie will be won by team work, not individuals. It will be breathless and will go to the last minute."
Lazio coach Vladimir Petkovic said his team would go all out for a win in the first leg in Istanbul. "I've faced Fenerbahce here twice before, once with Young Boys and the other time with Samsunspor," he told reporters. "They are much improved since then. They are one of the biggest names left in the draw but we want to dominate the game."
Fenerbahce defender Reto Ziegler, on loan from Juventus, believes his side will have to be at their best to get the better of Lazio.
"We are delighted to be involved at this stage and we want to go further," the former Tottenham player said. "We face a tough game, a balanced game. We have to concentrate and play well to get the victory."
