Barcelona will head into the La Liga game against Mallorca without their talisman Lionel Messi.
Messi picked up a hamstring injury against Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League game Tuesday, and had to be taken off at half-time for Cesc Fabregas.
The Argentine has been ruled out of the game on Saturday, while doubts still remain on his fitness for the second leg against PSG Wednesday.
"We'll have to see how he develops between now and Wednesday," Barca assistant coach Jordi Roura said. "He is a competitive player and always wants to be in the team. At the end of the day, it depends how he feels and what the doctors say. But neither should we force things."
Barcelona have several other injury worries, with Javier Mascherano also ruled out for six weeks, while Carles Puyol remains sidelined. That means youngster Marc Bartra will most probably line up with Gerard Pique in central defense, while Tito Vilanova also has the option of playing either Alex Song or Sergio Busquets in that position.
Pedro is also unlikely to be risked after only recently returning to training from injury, while Victor Valdes serves the last of his four-match suspension.
With the title as good as sealed, Barca are likely to rest a few of their players, although Roura said a decision will be made only after the training session Saturday.
Mallorca are desperate for points, as they currently lie second bottom, and three points adrift of safety. Roura insisted Barcelona would not take their opponents lightly and their thoughts were only on the game on Saturday.
"We have to try to keep the balance," he said. "Our heads are fully focused on Saturday's game. We have always said that the league is a very important target for us.
"This team has always been able to respond to difficult situations like this. We have missing players but I don't doubt the members of my squad. If they're in the squad it's because they're good enough to be there. On Saturday we'll play with intensity and do everything we can to take the match."
