Knicks' Carmelo Anthony Feels It's Best That Derrick Rose Sits Out The Remainder Of The Season

New York Knicks All-Star Carmelo Anthony has risen his game to new heights this season, earning early consideration as an MVP candidate.

With the being said Melo knows the importance of being the leader of a team, and though he's never faced a severe injury like Chicago Bulls' guard Derrick Rose, he can relate to the young guard.

Still, Anthony feels that the Bulls superstar shouldn't come back this season if he's not "110 percent", according to the New York Post.

"I wish people would stop rushing Derrick back, please,'' Anthony said at the Knicks shootaround at Chicago's United Center. ... "He shouldn't come back until he's about 110 percent ready. I don't think he should come back if he's not ready to go out there and play. If he can't play at a high level, what's a couple of months (more) going to do. I don't think he should come back. That's just my opinion. I feel bad for him. I know he has to deal with that every day. He has to deal with that question and nobody from the outside knows what he's going through , what his body is going through. Until he's 100 percent right, I hope he sits out. ''

Rose tore his ACL the same day as Knicks' guard Iman Shumpert. Since then Shumpert has made his return but he hasn't had to deal with the same amount of pressure a Rose has had in Chicago.

Right now fans of the Bulls have expressed their anger about Rose, who was cleared for 5-on-5 scrimmages in late February, not making an appearance in an NBA game this season.

With just 10 days left in the regular season, it seems more likely that Rose is done until next season.
