Arsenal will want to keep their momentum going when they host Norwich City in the English Premier League Saturday.
The Gunners are currently fifth on 56 points, two behind Chelsea and Tottenham. With both their top four rivals not involved in the Premier League this weekend, Arsenal can take advantage with a good performance against Norwich at the Emirates.
"When the team is winning, everyone is obviously more upbeat," Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain told the club's official website. "We all want to win games and when you do the confidence and self-belief within the group rises.
"When you get on a winning streak, you start to go into games thinking that you are going to win - that is the self-belief you create.
"You know it will be a tough game, but once you have that winning mentality you really believe in yourself a lot more.
"It all oozes out on the pitch, the team's play is a lot more positive and the attitude of the boys is more positive. The fans help as well but know we have to continue to work hard and hopefully that run can continue."
The last time Arsenal faced Norwich, they lost 1-0 to the Canaries at Carrow Road in one of the worst performances this season. Arsene Wenger is determined to put that right Saturday at the Emirates.
"It was on the back of an international game and Norwich defended very well," Wenger said. They played well on the break and after that, they had a very strong spell of 10 games where they did not lose.
"We know that they are a good side and we know that they are a dangerous side. We believe that today we are stronger than we were at that moment of the season and that's what we want to show on Saturday.
"We have a good experience recently of how well we have bounced back when everybody is focused. We have assembled very strong results. The spirit is there, the focus is there and the desire is there. We have very good ingredients and let's just bring that to the table on Saturday."
