After throwing away three points against Wigan last weekend, Queens Park Rangers will be desperate to keep their slim hopes of survival alive by picking up a victory at Goodison Park against Everton in the English Premier League.

QPR are second bottom on 24 points from 32 games, seven behind third bottom Wigan and 17th placed Sunderland. Everton, also will have a lot to play for, though, with the Toffees looking to keep their top four hopes alive.

"It's massive," Redknapp said. "We need to win four games and draw one to give ourselves a chance. There are not many tougher places to go than Everton.  They're a good side - a proper football club."

QPR were on their way to a hard-fought three points against Wigan, having taken a 1-0 lead while playing with only ten men. However, a 93rd minute strike from Shaun Maloney gave the Latics a share of the points, leaving Redknapp distraught.

"It was disappointing -- a big blow for us," Redknapp added. "We worked so hard to get in front with 10 men. It wasn't easy, but you've got to get on with it. There's still some life left in us. We've got to go again now.

"It's (staying up) going to be hard. But while there's still a chance, you've got to keep believing."

Meanwhile, Everton manager David Moyes announced Phil Jagielka would be the new club captain, with Phil Neville set to leave the club at the end of the season.

"If Phil Neville hasn't played, Jags has taken on the role -- and he will do," Moyes, whose own future is uncertain, said. "He's developed into a top central defender. His performances have been excellent.

"He just needs to look at Phil (Neville) and see how he conducts himself off the field, making sure the players are alright and everything's going in the right direction. If Jags can do that, we'll hopefully have another period of success with a successful captain."

Everton welcome back Marouane Fellaini and Steven Pienaar from suspension, while Bobby Zamora begins the first of his three-match ban for QPR.
